WELCOME

We are the Guardians of the Public Trust as mandated by Section 402.164 - 167, Florida Statutes to safeguard the health, safety, welfare and rights of the clients of those programs and services provided by the State of Florida health and human services delivery system from conditions or individuals that constitute a threat to our clients' civil and human rights. We have a responsibility to report both to the Governor and to the Legislature as to program and services problems and recommendations to correct them. Our duties are carried out through a statewide network of investigations, monitorings and other mission-related functions performed by our Florida Local Advocacy Councils.
